My name is Gili (Julie) Hendeles. I am a 30 year old and am a painter and interior designer.
I was born in Israel on April 2, 1986 to a Bohemian parents whom always encouraged me to express myself by painting color and shapes. My father is an artist and former lecturer of art at Avni College.
My mother is a housewife, and formerly was a drama teacher.
Due to the artistic environment in my home, I was raised and have grown to love art. I was always drawn to art, design, music and fashion.
As a child, in elementary school, I joined the school’s art department and student council. In my spare time I used to draw and sketch architectural structures and practice classical piano pieces.
I graduated high school majoring in music and science.
At 2006 I studied graphic design at e.p.s college then, as a city girl, it also felt natural to continue studying Interior and Kitchen Design at college.
Today, I live with my husband in his hometown of Kibbutz Tel-Itzhak. It is a pastoral place with outstanding views of beautiful long boulevard trees, the opposite of the urban city life I had known.
I have found the sound between the silence of the nature and fell in love in the quiet village life.
I paint naive and romantic nature with heavy textures exposing myself to the not neat and tailored.
